CARL HANSEN New Products
Here at MORLEN SINOWAY we want to make sure you know our product variety and brands well. Today, we'd like to make you more familiar with CARL HANSEN. They have an exciting NEW collection all ready to order.
Above you’ll see the first shelving system in Carl Hansen & Søn’s product portfolio. The BM0253 Shelving System was originally designed in 1958 by Børge Mogensen but has only now been put into production. A continuation of Mogensen’s building furniture concept, it is centered on the idea that furniture should be simple enough to endure aesthetic trends while flexible enough to respond to the changing needs of people and the spaces they inhabit. A single tower of Shelves starts at $1,980 List.
We are also very excited about the Mama Bear Chair or the CH78 Lounge Chair by Hans J. Wegner, shown below. It was originally introduced in 1954 as an extension of his CH71 Chair (1952) design. An antidote to the often-heavy lounge chairs of his time, Mama Bear’s sculptural silhouette is defined by a series of inviting curves that offer up a warm embrace. Frame, armrests, and legs are crafted for stability from solid FSC™-certified wood. An optional headrest in leather or corresponding fabric completes the design and is sold separately.
Next, we have the BM0488 Table Bench. Originally designed in 1958 by Børge Mogensen, Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduces the the versatile Table Bench design. This piece is expertly crafted in oak heartwood with cabinetry joints, rounded edges and a double-woven wicker seat. The soulful, standalone piece is just as appropriate as a bench in an entrance hall or at the end of a bed, or as a coffee table or side table in a dining or living room.
Expanding on Carl Hansen & Søn’s existing lighting collection, the new MO Series by Mads Odgård illuminates spaces with comfort and simplicity. The four new powder-coated steel lamps – in table, wall, pendant and floor iterations – are both timeless and timely, united by their broad appeal, collective minimalism and individual purpose.
Originally developed in the 1960s for his private balcony, Børge Mogensen’s Deck Chair is reintroduced for 2020 and beyond. With its folding function and angled frame, the BM5568 Deck Chair profiles an inviting, honest and laid-back expression in untreated, FSC™-certified teak.
Designed by Morten Gøttler in 1997, the MG501 Cuba Chair captures contemporary design with its ideal balance of form and function, and nods to previous masters who experimented with elevating the folding chair concept. Now available in teak with outdoor rope to expand the uses for this very popular folding chair.
We hope you feel inspired. These are beautifully detailed and ready for home and contract use. Please inquire for more details. We are here to help.
