The Isa Collection (shown above), designed by Vicent Martínez is Capdell’s first stackable wooden chair collection defined by its vivid and variable backs. Isa becomes a very different chair through two mix-and-match pieces and the underlying upholstery, with a play of shapes and colors ranging from cut-outs to plain and upholstered. Isa makes a little nod with the detail of the flap on its back, which creates a unique niche for stowing small items, making it ideal for restaurants. This collection comes in a chair, an armchair and a stool, which multiplies its ability to adapt to and be installed in a host of different spaces with the same aesthetic.
