Sancal was a dream of Santiago Castaño Carpena. He left a good job and decided to start a furniture manufacturing company centered around bringing contemporary furniture to the masses. Today, they work with world renown designers and focus on innovative furniture unlike any other. Their designs for public and private spaces make one always feel at home. An emphasis on comfort is always at the forefront for Sancal. They design with beautiful and subtle details and use nothing but the most high quality of materials.

Above you see an image of the very popular Tonella collection, by Design studio Note. This design was inspired by the original Marie Antoinette’s Chair. This design inspiration paired with the use of modern materials yielded one of Sancal's most successful launches to date. For 2016, they've launched a larger scaled Lounge chair and Sofa to round out the collection. The price points are great, too. The Lounge has a starting price of $2,480 List and the Sofa has a starting price of $3,546 List.
