Arflex began producing furniture in 1947. Their key to success has always been in innovation of material usage. Arflex is credited with the first uses of foam rubber and elastic tape in furniture. Arflex is best known for their beautiful modular sofas and lounge furniture, their innovation still shows today.
Signature pieces from Arflex include the Lady Armchair by Marco Zanuso, designed in 1951, the Florenza Armchair by Franco Albini designed in 1952, and the Octopus table by Carlo Colombo, designed in 2009. The entire Arflex furniture collection is suitable for home, commercial, or office use.
